The Kickbacks

Together, Lisa and George have over 20 years of musical performing experience and play LIVE without backing tracks or MIDI files.  Lisa’s rich and edgy blues influenced vocal style (with bass guitar) and George’s flamboyant guitar playing skills deliver a solid live band 'sound experience' to every audience.  Lisa and George have a natural style in both drawing in and involving an audience, and together with their engaging on stage rapport, every performance has that ‘special something’.  Lisa has toured the Pub/Club circuit around Brisbane during the late ‘80s. In the mid ‘90’s, Lisa’s musical career expanded overseas to the UK as lead vocalist for a four piece originals band performing on the London Pub Circuit. Prior to forming The KickBacks with George, Lisa was lead vocalist for a covers band performing at private functions around Brisbane.  George is an extremely versatile guitarist with a wealth of experience in many musical styles including Rock, Classical, Latin and Flamenco. George has performed with many bands since the late ‘80’s including ‘Dee Dee and the Wanderers’, 'Sambucca' and ‘Now 'n' Then’ as well as the very successful duo/three piece band ‘Kryptic’.  Book us for your next party and you are going to have a night to remember For further info, song lists and gig guide click here
