In 2004 Jack recorded and released an album of his own compositions and covers. Jack's audiences have enthusiastically received the title song "I Am Me". In 2006 Jack was honoured to be chosen from students throughout Queensland to feature in the "Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage" spectacular in the Concert Hall at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Jack performed his song "I Am Me' accompanied by the 60 piece orchestra and 200 voice choir to an ecstatic audience. Network 10 also featured Jack in the documentary accompanying the broadcast of this concert.

Adding composing and studio work to his list of musical accomplishments, Jack hopes to make music his profession.

	Jack Murphy Guitarist/vocalist Jack Murphy was born in 1990 in Brisbane Australia. His enthusiasm for life and passion for music has not been affected although born totally blind. From a young age Jack displayed a unique talent on his chosen instruments of guitar and vocals. He was given his first break at age 8 at the Kedron Wavell RSL thanks to John McSweeney. John was impressed by this young talented musician and invited him to perform a number of songs as part of his show. It was here that Brisbane Extra filmed Jack. Subsequently Jack performed at the Kedron Brook Hotel one night for a half-hour block. He performed some of his favourite songs and had an enthusiastic crowd rocking. This was to be the start of his love for performing to a live audience.
