Our Work to Date

In 1999, international opera singer and social entrepreneur Janelle Colquhoun established Salubrious Productions, an entertainment and production agency to specialise in professional artists with a disability. Since then she has built-up a core of approximately 400 artists and produced approximately 1400 mainstream and disability events, including concerts, art exhibitions, launches, pantomimes, cabarets and a film.  Salubrious Productions has held numerous contracts with the Brisbane City Council (BCC), including the BCC Live-in-the-Library Series from 2002-2012, The BCC June-July and Christmas School Holiday Library Series from 2004-2012, organised the classical musicians for the Opening Weekend Celebrations of the refurbished Brisbane City Hall in 2013, and has held the contract to produce the Clem Jones City Hall Concerts (previously known as the BCC Classical Lunchtime Concert Series) since 2002. Since 2011 Janelle has also produced the World Music Lunchtime Concert Series for the BCC. Salubrious Productions manages several corporate speakers, and has arranged artists and produced performances for government departments, corporations, individuals and ‘not for profit’ organisations in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and internationally.
